elemental structures is a duo show featuring the work of sue ennis and linelle lemoine :

ennis’ paintings come out of the paradox that beauty can be found in the unusual and the ugly : within the pathology of the modern urban environment, where man-made structures impinge on or even obliterate the organic, there are still traces of beauty to be found :

lemoine draws the viewer into her search for tranquility within an urban setting : she presents mixed media paintings on wood panel that reveal the transient and imperfect beauty of nature :
